I guess LeBron James, famous Cleveland Cavalier, is learning Chinese. Perhaps LeBron is here now using the Pinyin Practice pages to improve his pronunication. That would be awesome! I seriously hope LeBron sticks with this… it’s always good to have someone famous promoting language learning. Look what Steven Seagal did for Japanese learning in the US! LeBron has been quoted as saying he wants to learn Chinese to do interviews in Chinese when the time comes. That sounds plausible and admirable, but I can’t help but wonder if his alternative motive is to help improve relations after having his Nike ads banned.

Well, these postings have slowed down a bit. Sorry. Just been working on less interesting, non-Chinese, stuff. But here is a nice website that looks good for beginners and the more advanced. ClearChinese.com Mostly for beginners. Besides dialogs and audio, the site also has practice sections and organized feeds from ChinesePod.
